Have you ever had Mast Brothers Chocolate? Their chocolate bars aren’t cheap, which is why I always put them back whenever I pick them up — but I still pick them up every time, drawn in by the great packaging.
Maybe a Factory Tour would be a better bang for my buck than one chocolate bar?

As you may have noticed, I went away for a while! My life has not been peppered with too many exciting moments or adventures during my time away. I’ve just been busy, with work. I thought, what better way to get back into blogging (hopefully) than to make a post about what I’ve been up to over the past few months. This may have been better suited as a post at the end of 2011 or the beginning of 2012 (it’s still January!), but that obviously didn’t happen! So, here it is now. Art, theater, carousels, sweets (soufflé! — see sidebar to the right), random shops, and unseasonably warm weather in winter months all made for a good mix.
Here’s to a fulfilling 2012, belatedly!

I’ve never been a huge fan of dried flowers. Don’t get me wrong: They can be beautiful, but, for some reason, they tend to make me sad (and they can be messy). But I may have to reconsider them after seeing these dried floral arrangements from Flores del Sol.

I can’t decide if I like the Yarrow Mound or the Plum Tuft more. I think they’d look really pretty next to each other.
